True Universal Health Care - A message to Iowans

265,000 Iowans don't have health care.
Only one candidate for president has a Universal Health Care Plan that will cover all of them and lower health care costs for everyone.

This video was produced for a DVD delivered to Iowa voters.

Universal Coverage Through Shared Responsibility

The Edwards Plan will:

Require businesses and other employers to either cover their employees or help finance their employees' health insurance.
Create Health Care Markets to give all Americans a choice of insurance plans, including one public plan based on Medicare. The Markets will give every American the bargaining power to negotiate lower premiums, quality coverage, and more choices.
Make insurance affordable by creating new tax credits, expanding Medicaid and SCHIP, reforming insurance laws, and taking innovative steps to contain health care costs.
Once these steps have been taken, require all American residents to get insurance.
